I usually do it in dsda-doom, change the presentation to a hudless screen (I guess it's f5) and before taking a printscreen, I change the weapon (from slot 2 to 1, for example) so there's none displaying at the moment I press printscreen. Another method is to use Crispy Doom or Woof/Nugget, as they have a binding for "Save a clean screenshot" which takes a picture without your weapon or any HUD. Iirc even the Build engine (Duke Nukem 3D, Blood, Serious Sam, etc.) cannot handle windows put under/over each other, but it could be (rather tediously) bypassed by midair floating flattened items. The GZDoom console command togglehud will hide the HUD, the player weapon and all other 2D elements like HudMessages until you open the console or a menu. I have it bound to a key for convenience (bind o togglehud) Great for combining with freeze and noclip2 as a makeshift Photo Mode! 2 Quote Share this post Link to post
