how do I stretch my status bar?

So I have an issue, with my dsda doom, the status bar looks like this:

This doesn't seem bad, But I want it to look similar to something like this:

 

The only issue is, The only way to do this is set it to 4:3 and that stretches everything.

I want the gameplay to not be stretched but have the status bar stretched.

 

An example is zero master: The video isn't stretched but the hud is

For latest DSDA-Doom (v0.27.5):

Options -> General -> Display Options -> Status Bar and Menu Appearance: set to Fit to Width.

That or you use a widescreen statusbar. If there's none for that pwad, tell me which one it is and I'll make you one ASAP (usually within 24h).
