Doom WAD Trailers

Lights, camera, caco! 

 

This is a repository for real WAD trailers (full release, WIP), fake WAD trailers (parody, pseudo review etc), and everything in between. Please feel free to nuke this thread if there already exists a thread for this sort of bunko. I felt it wasn't entirely appropriate for me to slap my silly WAD encapsulations in the "Post Your Doom Videos" thread going forward so I've made this thread instead. Please feel free to slam down your own creations, I'd love to see 'em. Always love seeing a trailer, no matter what it's for.

 

If you're gonna post a trailer, please give a tiny bit of info alongside the embedded video - it might be release info, how long the trailer took, what programs you used, some concept you adhered to while creating ... be good to have something extra, ya know?

 

Gonna get started by adding some content to the thread with some of my crap, but please add your own stuff. Cheers. :)

Doom II In Spain Only:

 

In keeping with the nature of the WAD, the entire trailer was translated badly into Spanish via Google Translate and features many slices of The Man Who Saves The World (Turkish Star Wars). Ay-ay-ay!

The Plutonia Experiment:

 

It was a major pain trying to find a spot to squeeze in the "Gettin' too old for this shit" line from Lethal Weapon. This was really, really good fun to make.

That thread seems like a pretty broad church, but I ain't gonna complain if quality like this is housed in one place.

I've made lots of trailers for my mods. Several for my cartoony ZDoom mod Lizard Squad, one for my Omega Zero ZDoom/GZDoom mod and some other trailers for some other mods.

 

 

This was the last trailer I made for Lizard Squad. Super cheesy voice over, super cheesy Flash animation and it's 1.5 minutes long so you don't have to suffer too long lol. I've got some older trailers in the spoiler tag below.

The first two trailers with the Flash animations were more like super quick commercials. The third and fourth videos were more like a traditional gameplay trailer. Holy god, these videos are over 10 years old.

 

Here's the Omega Zero ZDoom mod trailer. Not much to really say except it was pretty fun putting together the footage into a trailer and trying to get it to sync with the music.

 

 

I gotta say though, looking back at the really old stuff in the spoiler tag was a fun trip down memory lane.

Man, you had me at "Flash Animation". These are really good fun! Love the voice overs and the music choices are on point. :) The cartoon graphics in the mods are really nice too. Great work, mate! Thanks for sharing.

I'm glad you liked them, it means a lot to me that people still find these videos entertaining.
