weird colormap problem thingy

I added a custom colormap to my wad, and now everything looks like this. The colormap is in the proper colormap format. Also, this effect was still present after i removed the colormap lump. What could be causing this ???

i've also tried this before with a different colormap, and it looked right so idk why it looks like this now :P

omfg i am so sorry for even making this post turns out i had a second colormap in my wad that was a PNG, and it somehow had higher priority than the actual colormap idk :[
