UDMF - Linedef script to ZScript/ACS?

Wo0p

Question

Hello there :)

Is there any way to use linedef specials 211, 210, 16 and 50 in a map script? I can never remember what type of script a map script is sorry x(

The specials are the Transfer Floor/Ceiling/Wall Brightness specials. I'm trying to make a switch that turns on light in a sector which has varying heights of boxes that blocks the direction the light is coming from; therefore I need a way to turn up the brightness of the sector but keep some linedefs and floors dark. And doing all these things by pressing just a single button.

If there is a way, that is. Thanks for your time reading :)

Transfer specials are "always-on", you can change properties of the control sector to change what they're transferring if you need it.

Then just set up a transfer with control sector light = dark floor/wall light (same as original light of the sector, but in a dummy sector), and once you change sector light however you like in the target place the transfer should keep certain parts dark.

Thanks, but this wasn't quite what I was looking for as far as answers go. I have resolved this issue myself with a sector special.

Anyway, I appreciate you taking the time to answer :)
