TheMagicMushroomMan Posted February 9, 2024 (edited) How are you attempting to launch the wad(s)? Drag and drop? Command prompt? A launcher program? Edited February 9, 2024 by TheMagicMushroomMan 0 Quote Share this post Link to post

Amaruψ Posted February 10, 2024 If you're drag-dropping both the Extermination Day and Brutal Doom, it should appear as an episode when you start a new game. If it doesn't, try booting Extermination Day directly from the command console. I think the map format is EDAYXX (replace XX with any map slot number.) First one would be EDAY01. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post

Shepardus Posted February 11, 2024 Are you able to load each one individually (i.e. only Brutal Doom, and only Extermination Day)? 0 Quote Share this post Link to post

Doom-X-Machina Posted February 13, 2024 Give ZDLauncher a try. Run Brutal Doom first in line, then any other mods you want. Run Extermination Day last. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post

Done that still no, My Extermination day dont work. I'm using the E-day Vannila because no other one loads the maps (see video below to understand) what file did you download E-day from? https://youtu.be/nQhA8Ly9eMo 0 Quote Share this post Link to post

I've never used either of them and am unaware of their compatibilities or any issues they may have. I use Eday RC9 which I believe is the last release candidate version by Sgt. Mark IV that eventually became the official release. I downloaded it from ModDB when it was released alongside Brutal Doom v21 a couple years ago. I've never had any issues running it. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
ObserverOfTime Posted February 14, 2024 Put all files you want to use in the Gzdoom directory and run the following command in the same directory. You can use the file explorer to navigate to the folder, then click into the address bar and type in "cmd" and press enter, this will open a command prompt in the current directory: gzdoom.exe -iwad "DOOM2.WAD" -file "name-of-the-mod.pk3" "name-of-another-mod.pk3" -skill 1 -warp 1 Replace "DOOM2.WAD" with whatever base game you're using (DOOM.WAD, DOOM2.WAD, etc.) and the "name-of-the-mod.pk3" with whatever the name of the file you're loading actually is, be it mods or additional PWADs. You can add as many files here as you want, simply list them after the file parameter. The "-warp 1" parameter simply starts you directly on the first map instead of going to the menu first. The "-skill 1" parameter sets the difficulty, adjust the number from 1 to 5 to your liking (1 being HNTR and 5 being Nightmare). If you don't feel comfortable using the command line then I suggest using a graphical launcher such as doomrunner or ZDL. Those are pretty straightforward to use and make life a little easier. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
