How can i get the doom 2 monsters and textures in ultimate doom builder

so i made a wad on ultimate doom builder with freedom2.wad because idk how to get the monsters and the textures from doom 2 innit do i have to download something pls help me

You need to either own or purchase Doom 2. It's not very expensive.

 

Then you load DOOM2.WAD as your source file by selecting File > New Map, then Add Resource [From WAD File] and select DOOM2.WAD.

i got doom 2 i can also play maps withit but how can i change the wad file for ultimate doom builder

Just do it when picking resources for wad, when creating new wad or opening map setting (F2).

If it has Freedoom greyed out, that means it's set in your Preferences (F6) as a base resource and you should change that instead.
