That was the initial point of this initially joke thread, heh

Honestly, with the glut of X wad vs Y wad / “why do people hate X wad” threads I’ve seen, this thread being a parody of them is something I’m all here for. Just think it could’ve been executed better…

Make sure to play this on the premises you wish to set on fire (preferably in the house of your sworn enemy) because even Pentagon's most advanced CPU won't be hi-tech enough to process this devilish amalgamation without spontaneously combusting!

This ain't no joke thread - Fava Beans came out in '94, when Doom modding was in its infancy, whereas Hell Revealed came out after Final Doom and took baron spam to an excruciating extreme.  Fava Beans wins.  No comparison, really

I prefer Fava Beans. Hell Revealed is just a bit too slaughtery. I prefer more chill wads these days. I liked it when I first played it, in fact I recommended to my Invasion 2 team mate Rick Lipsey. I remember he wasn't that crazy about it. Said the levels were just simple looking. And from what I remember of HR, I'd agree the look of the levels is lacking. Nowadays I can't even get through the first several levels without losing interest. And I remember Fava Beans was listed on my "Cool Wads" page back when I had a website. Don't think I put HR on there.
