Scottier681 Posted February 21 Does anyone know whether the quake 2 remaster can work with the quad touch app on Android? The quake 1 does work but not sure about Q2. Any ideas? 0 Quote Share this post Link to post

Any ideas? If i am going to say no, would that be a sufficient answer? 0 Quote Share this post Link to post

QSS doesn't seem to recognize it for some reason (all strings refer to the file from the remaster, which I don't know, and Dimensions of the Machine just doesn't work for me). 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Individualised Posted February 21 (edited) As far as I know no Quake 2 source port properly supports the remaster. Yamagi can load the maps but it doesn't implement any of the new features, and doesn't plan to (even though the new DLLs are open source). EDIT: Seems like there is a fork of Yamagi aimed at supporting the remaster: https://github.com/yquake2/yquake2remaster , but that doesn't answer your question anyway. Scottier681 Posted February 23 The Q1 remaster works on quakespasm spiked, dark places, and FTEQW. these are the three on quad touch android. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
