Why does "moo" mean "I've returned after a long time?"

You would know better than me, but I think it usually is a forum equivalent of the more modern "dead chat" comments you see to either remark that there's no activity or a long overdue return. I'd swear that has to be a correlation. 

 

I feel like I've seen "moo" in other contexts but the more I think about it, the less examples I can actually recall. I appreciate the comment.
