"Professional" Doom 3 Photography

For some time now, I've been interested in taking in-game photos and recordings of Doom 3's scenery and locations. I'm able to take pretty good screenshots with steam as is, but my hud and weapons are still in the way. I'm assuming there's some kind of program out there or maybe even a mod which will allow me to capture HD pics and videos (or at least I hope so).

 

Yes, I have thought about using console commands to get rid of monsters and weapons, and after I get done with this play through, I'm going to try that. In the mean time I'd like to figure out if there's a "cleaner" way to go about it.
