Profiles' main pages have not updated since December 2023

I just noticed that posts and threads are not getting archived on the personal profile or the "all activity" tab. I also cannot embed youtube videos anymore. Is this happening to anyone else or it's just with me?

If you go to User Activity and click "posts", it gives an updated version of their history where you can find a person's latest posts in the meantime (thanks Dynamo and MagicMushroomMan):

It's a known issue. We don't have an immediate fix for it, but it will be resolved.

Whenever I select a sentence to quote, there's always a chance of the Quote selection button not appearing.

To me, it is when i want to do a split quote by pressing Space in the middle of the quote that this just doesn't happen.

The thing is, i know this isn't a site issue because on my work PC it still does work. Albeit that's under Chrome and i run Firefox.

Sometimes the site fails to load at all, even after deleting cookies and trying on multiple devices (phone, work laptop and home laptop).

All other websites seem to load just fine in comparison so I found it very strange.

 

Wonder if I'm the only one experiencing this..

My updates don't appear on my main page. I have to go into the "See my activity" section to see them. Doomworld is not the only site with Bull$@#%# going on. Deviantart, Facebook, Nightcafe are all plagued with viruses hackers, saboteurs, incompetent morons and VIC20-grade computers.

Doomworld runs on Invision Community, which is proprietary (closed source).  I believe the Doomworld netadmins will have to wait for a fix from the Invision devs.

Just noticed this today... any idea when there will be a fix? I use Doomworld to do the bulk of my Doom wad discovery, and the personal profile posts have helped me follow a thread and discover new material.

I've been having issues recently with the search function not able to find threads/posts, no matter how narrow or wide I set the search settings. It seems to be only recently (late december to now) created threads, I assume it's tied with this issue?

 

As an example I can't find the blues brothers 2023 or bloodbath babylon I release threads in the search.

I think the mods might want to make a sticky (for their own sanity) until it's fixed.

 

But yeah, there's been about a dozen threads about it since it started so it's definitely a known issue. Based on my understanding it's a forum software problem so there's nothing that can be done aside from waiting. If you go to User Activity and click "posts", it gives an updated version of their history.

Yes, until this is fixed, this is the way to see updated posts and threads, so at least they're not completely frozen, and this can work until a more permanent solution is found. Example:
