Baron T. Mueriach Posted March 23, 2024 (edited) The issue has been resolved, I reinstalled GZDoom and it worked. Not sure what the hell that was all about but thanks to everyone who gave suggestions. Edited March 23, 2024 by Baron T. Mueriach 0 Quote Share this post Link to post

boris Posted March 23, 2024 Delete the 2 wall sectors that touch the door. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
Naarok0fkor Posted March 23, 2024 (edited) Instead of using door 11, try lower floor or raise ceiling. Don't forget your sector tag 9. A door doesn't work unless it is anchored to walls without sectors. A complex shape can also be a problem with doors... Edited March 23, 2024 by Naarok0fkor 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Stabbey Posted March 23, 2024 A door not opening or closing, yet making sounds is what happens when a door is triggered when one of the neighboring sectors has a ceiling height which is at the floor height of the door. Doors always raise to 4 units below the height of the lowest neighboring sector. I see sectors to either side of your T9 door. If those sectors have a ceiling height set low, the door will make noise, but it will not open. I have seen a rash of people posting doors which have created sectors beside them. This is a common result of doing that without fully understanding the mechanics behind how doors work. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
aRottenKomquat Posted March 23, 2024 Is this UDMF format? You have the tag (9) set on the linedef identification field, rather than under the Sector Tag in the action area. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
