Doom running in Task Manager CPU usage graph.

Recommended Posts

This is the Task Manager CPU usage graph running Ultimate Doom, each square is a pixel.

Pity I can not embed a webm, but this is an interesting clip. I found this on 4chan and I do not know any more about this, or how it is possible.

This CPU has 32 sockets, 896 cores and 1792 logical processors. Very nice.

It isn't, that's not actually the task manager. There were a number of problems with it, but the main one I recall is the font is straight up wrong.

But the main thing you have to ask yourself is why is it recorded this way, and not a video capture? It's doing the weird thing where people think "video camera = real" when it's actually the easier thing to fake and is usually used to hide something. The obvious thing to hide would be this isn't running on Windows Server, which you'd need to have that many cores and sockets at all.

Cute, but for the 1000th time, simply piping display information through a program does not qualify as "running" Doom. That's like pointing a projector at your wall and saying "look, the wall plays movies!"
