bejiitas_wrath Posted March 25, 2024 This is the Task Manager CPU usage graph running Ultimate Doom, each square is a pixel. https://securitronlinux.com/arma3/task-manager-run-ultimate-doom.webm Pity I can not embed a webm, but this is an interesting clip. I found this on 4chan and I do not know any more about this, or how it is possible. This CPU has 32 sockets, 896 cores and 1792 logical processors. Very nice. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post

There were a number of problems with it, but the main one I recall is the font is straight up wrong. But the main thing you have to ask yourself is why is it recorded this way, and not a video capture? It's doing the weird thing where people think "video camera = real" when it's actually the easier thing to fake and is usually used to hide something. The obvious thing to hide would be this isn't running on Windows Server, which you'd need to have that many cores and sockets at all. Plerb Posted March 26, 2024 That's nothing, I once got Doom running on a Doomworld post! 2 Quote Share this post Link to post
magicsofa Posted March 26, 2024 Cute, but for the 1000th time, simply piping display information through a program does not qualify as "running" Doom. That's like pointing a projector at your wall and saying "look, the wall plays movies!" 13 Quote Share this post Link to post
Maximum Matt Posted March 30, 2024 Good idea, someone get Doom running on a projector - that should be easy 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
bejiitas_wrath Posted April 4, 2024 The new T-14 Armata tank runs Linux., It could run Doom. Or a SpaceX craft. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
