Midi Creation on the go

2009XboxLiveKid

Question

I thought I had posted about this earlier, but I guess not.

I'm looking for an app for Android that would allow me to map out some midi's that I think of, I don't know what it is but I tend to think of more music stuff while I'm at work or anywhere else but home, and would want to save them for whenever I do come home and I can continue working on it, what would be the best way that I could do this?

I've tried using FL Studio mobile but it doesn't seem to work correctly nor does it have fruity LSD built into it at least that I've seen, are there any other apps that have midi capability, or at least an app that has note placement and editing capabilities that I could export as a midi and continue later on.

Try using online sequencer. It doesn't have the best mobile friendly features but it still has some

I'd like to find some solution for iPhone 7. I'm a tracker guy through and through so I'd need something with a tracker type interface (not midiroll). It's a shame I don't have money for android/pad/laptop, I'm used to ancient version of Midi Tracker which I use in Windows when I'm at home.

So far on the go I've had to screen record me playing ideas badly in some app like gridnotes and usually forget about it. If only I could get my ideas to .mid:is on the fly, I might return to them later much easily.

perhaps you could try humming your ideas to a voice recorder first to retain them? i do this since it is much easier and faster. you could then compose the actual notes on gridnotes, a midi editor, etc during your free time.
