orgazmo816 Posted April 14, 2003 I have seen alot of different things about doom that people want to see return in Doom 3, but nothing about the monsters getting chunked by rockets or other explosives. That was one of the best parts about Doom I thought anyway. Seeing a zombie getting chunked and the chunks getting thrown to the side was pure heaven for me. And if they do I hope it isn't like in half life it just looked so cheesy and fake. I havent seen anything about that but that doesnt mean it isnt in there. I've heard alot about hit detection and such but nothing about the chunks. If you know something about it please shed light on the subject or just comment on it. What they should do if the Doom 3 engine is so bad ass, they should use Raven Softs GHOUL engine for the characters I mean if the engine has per poly hit detection then why not(that and use Red Factions Geo-Mod engine for the enviroments and Doom 3 would be too much to handle!!!) 0 Quote Share this post Link to post

gemini09 Posted April 15, 2003 i bet there will be plenty of blood and gore, afterall it is doom. a few things i'd like to see... not able to carry as many guns and ammo as u can in doom1/2 replace the little sharp thing on your fist with something bigger and badder a huge rambo knife u can carry all the time (in a "socket" on the uniform/suit on your leg perhaps) shotgun and ssg, ssg just like doom2 only better grafx and clearer sounds cool walking/running/attacking/dying properties/animations for your enemies stamina, but still be a man :) something to revolutionize the whole health-pack thing, something more realistic run just as fast as in doom2, but stamina will ofcourse wear out 2-3 giant huge bosses (like the icon of sin, only with the full body) lots of variations for everything :) like for how u cut with your knife, punch, the impacts and so on... and probably 50 more i can't think of off the top of my head. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
