Freelook option not saving after closing down GZDoom

So when I try to disable freelook on GZDoom 4.9.0 whenever I'm trying to play a WAD, it usually never saves after shutting it down.

Is it only the freelook option, or do other options also not save?

Have you tried the latest version of GZDoom? The current version is 4.11.3.

I'll try and get it. Thanks!

EDIT: It works

Well, I don't think it works on the newest version either. Still not saving the freelook option.

When you say "the freelook option," are you referring to the "always mouselook" option in Mouse Options, or the "allow freelook" flag in Gameplay Options? The former is what enables looking up/down with the mouse, while the latter controls whether a WAD allows you to freelook (WAD authors can disable freelook but you can use this flag to force it on even if they do so). Gameplay flags are not saved when quitting the game, though they are saved in savegames. You can also use an autoexec file to adjust gameplay flags at startup (create a file called autoexec.cfg and put in it a line saying sv_freelook 1).

Ohhhhhhh. Okay, I believe this is the "problem" I have. Thanks a lot!
