Lucius Wooding Posted April 16 It's a link to a Tom's Hardware article for anyone who doesn't feel like clicking it. It's titled: /video-games/enthusiast-adds-microtransactions-to-doom-qr-codes-direct-to-payment-ui-every-time-you-pick-up-an-item So does OP have an opinion or any kind of point to this? Because it seems like it's just someone that did something because they could, as a parody. Personally I read the title of the article and I don't feel any need to delve further, it's a massive shrug from me tbh. 3 Quote Share this post Link to post
philcul Posted April 16 I'm pretty sure that is satire. (At least I hope so.) 3 Quote Share this post Link to post

Li'l devil Posted April 18 I mean there's legit some CEO who wanted people to pay for weapon reloads in games. Forgot who it was. Riccitello? I think he's in charge of Unity engine now and already running it into ground. So yeah, just you wait! In 5 years you'll be constantly paying for games even when you aren't playing them! You'll be paying even when you're just thinking about them! You'll remember this article and you won't think it's a joke, you'll think of it as the good old days when things were good! 4 Quote Share this post Link to post
