DNSKILL5 Posted April 20, 2024 (edited) I have a 2005 Saturn ION 3 coupe that I bought in 2017 for $1,500. Over the seven years I've owned this car, I've spent about $1,500 overall for repairs within that timespan. With over 200,000 miles on it now, my plan is to drive it until it is beyond repairable. Thinking about this made me curious what other users drive and how long they've had their car, how much they've spent on it since purchase (have you paid more than it cost to buy it, or have you gotten lucky), etc. If you don't have a motor vehicle, then talk about your shoes or bicycle. Whatever. Edited April 20, 2024 by DNSKILL5 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
Doominator2 Posted April 20, 2024 Spoiler I drive a 2013 Cadillac ATS, which I love. Got a pretty good deal from a shady Italian guy and it hasn't failed on me yet. Going to need to get the right car door speaker replaced and possibly part of the oil pan thats rusting off though :( 2 Quote Share this post Link to post
LadyMistDragon Posted April 20, 2024 I have a 2012 Suburu Impreza. Like all Suburus, it's pretty reliable and other than a light replacement and repairs for something fucking embarrasing totaling around $700, there haven't been any major problems. And I've had it probably....3 and a half, 4 years 2 Quote Share this post Link to post
act Posted April 20, 2024 my fucking feet. They're about size 9, mens. I usually put them in a nice pair of boots with a zipper in winter, during the warmer months I wear doc martens, if it's particularly hot out I wear sneakers, and if I'm going to work then I wear these walmart steel toes. 4 Quote Share this post Link to post
heliumlamb Posted April 21, 2024 honda's automatic transmissions from the mid 00's are hot (that is something they can do) garbage. im sorry not sorry to everyone who has had to be at red light next to me when i'm listening to any music that incorporates frequencies below 60hz. i would still rather have a honda acty or subaru sambar (truck or van i don't really care). need to replace the forks and chain on my bike so i can get hit by a lithium heap in DriveGPT. a modern honda monkey wouldn't be a bad option but would need to get licensed for such a vehicle, and it's unfortunately probably less dangerous than bicycle or motor/spontaneous lithium combustion bike round here. 12 hours ago, LadyMistDragon said: I have a 2012 Suburu Impreza. VICE Posted April 21, 2024 Seat Ibiza 2009 Sportback Manual. 3 doors, 1.6L engine. It weighs less than a metric ton, so fuel consumption is hilariously low, and it can traverse terrain normaly reserved for 4x4 if you know what you're doing. It gets me places and p****. Engine is pretty average by modern standards, but the steering and control are excellent and combined with the light weight and the manual transmission, I can pretty much outmaneuver 99% of the cars on the road. I've had it for about 6 years now and plan on driving it for another 6 at least. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
