This week in ECS we're playing Deathmatch using Samsara Reincarnation in the maps of the grand deathmatch map compilation LexiconDM! The session commences tomorrow on Sunday, April 21st 2024, at 8PM CET / 2PM EST! Samsara Reincarnation is a grand classic FPS crossover mod for Zandronum developed by the Samsara Reincarnation team and based on the Samsara mod by TerminusEst13. Samsara Reincarnation features over 30 playable characters, weapons and enemies from classic FPS games of the 90s and early 2000s! It can be played in Cooperative and Deathmatch, and remains very faithful towards each game represented! Version 2.0 brings in new player classes, alt-classes for existing player classes, tons of improvements and fixes! The new classes are the Material Defender from Descent, Prisoner 849 from Unreal, Sarge from Quake III: Arena, JC Denton from Deus Ex, B.J. Blazkowicz from Return to Castle Wolfenstein, and Daniel Garner from Painkiller! LexiconDM is the vanilla deathmatch map edition of Lexicon created by the Lexicon team in November 2023! The pack consists of a whopping number of 1228 classic deathmatch maps, including the legendary DWANGO, Styx, IPX Match, Execution Deathmatches, the British wadpacks, the Greenwars, and the rest of the many classics out there! Most of the maps are either fairly small or have tight rooms and corridors which are only really enjoyable with a few people, but we'll see how chaotic things can get!
