Is this the BEST configuration?

Hi All,

 

This is one of my first posts, but thank you in advance for helping me with this question.

 

Situation:  I'm using GZDoom w/Beautiful Doom and Brightmaps and I really enjoy it and it looks very nice with Doom 2, but I'm always looking for a way to make it even look better, i.e. Higher Resolution, etc.

 

Question:  Is there something better out there?  Could my configuration that I am running below be "tweaked" to make things better?

 

c:\save\doom\beautiful-doom\gzdoom.exe -file Beautiful_Doom_716.pk3 brightmaps.pk3 zdoom-dhtp.pk3 blah-blah.wad

For classic Doom? Probably not. Maybe a ray tracing mod mixed with one of those super high def texture pack mods.
