I'm trying to extract mp3 files from a TC but can't find them.

Question

Sorry to be a bother here, but I wanted to extract music from a 2013 total conversion called Soul Crusher for my Mp3 player, but I can't find them on slade anywhere.  The ost in that mod seems to be either Mp3 or Ogg files rather than midi, and it's the first time i've used this program since it's all new to me.

Soulcrusher is divided into several wad files, the music is in SCmusic.wad. If you don't have that file, get the original Soulcrusher release from https://www.doomworld.com/idgames/levels/doom2/Ports/s-u/scmain - further updates only provided updates to SCMain.wad

I'm assuming that is your problem, if you do have that file and can't find the music in it/figure out how to extract it, let us know

Sorry to bump this.  Been busy over the past week.  I noticed one of the files as an XM module and won't play despite being a MP3 file outside the Doom editor program.  Any program worth checking out to edit it?

Edit:Nevermind:Found a program capable of doing it.

no problem for the bump.

XMPlay is my preferred module player. It can write modules to disk as wav, I believe it can do mp3 by default but don't remember offhand.

https://www.un4seen.com/xmplay.html (the download link is just under the xmplay header)
