(FOUND) Where the hell does the Jon with a turkey image come from??

The earliest I could find the Jon with a turkey image on the internet was sometime in 2017. But I was at a dead end. I tried watching the every episode of Garfield to find the original episode but no luck. I think the original image might've been edited or in some obscure episode. I couldn’t find any info on the Garfield wiki. Any help on finding the origin would be appreciated

The earliest version i found was also from 2017 on a site called imgrum, But weirdly the image isn't even on that page, But i downloaded it and looked at the metadata.

None of that is useful from what i can tell though

EDIT: I looked on the wayback machine and it used to be an image host site, So my guess is someone made it in photoshop or something, than uploaded to imgrum and used it to comment on a forum or something

If it helps, I am 99.99% sure this pose originally came from a sunday strip where Garfield and Jon have a contest of who can eat the largest piece of food in one bite, and end up at the vet's with Jon looking like that (don't remember what happened to Garfield). If it was in the cartoon then it must have been in one of those between-episodes segments where they adapted the sunday strips (though I'm not sure if I actually saw it there myself, it's been a long time since I last watched the cartoon).

 

Btw you should probably be doing your 46 assignments instead of pondering about Jon pics :P
