That would be awesome, especially if the final product could run on PSX hardware! If this happens though please make it as smooth sailing as humanly possible, with clear instructions for someone to set up DB for PSX, and how to run and test the map. The setup (at least when I tried it last) is a bit cryptic, might scare potential mappers away. 3 Quote Share this post Link to post

Making maps for the actual hardware requires more hurdles to jump over in regards to the PSX's limitations, also the conversion is finicky as well since we still don't have the full tools yet (thanks GEC). PsyDoom is easier to tackle mainly because the maps can be loaded directly from the folder they're in and it's limit-removing so we can go nuts with pretty much anything. 3 Quote Share this post Link to post
Cutman Posted June 16 Yeah I am aware of the strict limitations, I would consider that a nice challenge. Limitation breeds creativity after all! But I suppose a lot of people wouldn't find those restraints fun and do just wanna go ham. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
