Here's an IDEA for a community project that I might host in June or July.

I have an idea for a really nice community project that helps people express their nationalities. What if there was a project where the setting is on Earth, but instead of the whole WAD being like Doom II's city maps, it would be in different countries of the people's choosing. Like, there would be a request for however many people to create a map for a certain city or place in a certain country, presumably somewhere they come from or where there culture is from. I would group them all and create episodes based on a group of maps in a certain continent. For example, X, Y, and Z all submit a reply to the topic that states what place in what country they want their map to take place in. Lets say X says Canada, Y says the United States, and Z says México. I would create an episode using UMAPINFO and have that episode based on North America, and include the previously mentioned maps in the North America episode, and I would continue south to Central, then South America, have Doomguy travel on a boat to Africa, then Europe, and so on. Each map's MIDI would most likely a song from the map's country or a typical kind of song from there like a Tango from Argentina, or a Polka from Czech, etc. I could create a texture for each flag in the world so the mapmaker could place it somewhere in their map, too! Should I go through with this? I think its a great idea, but I want other people's opinions. :)

There's been tons of reimaginations of different community projects, 1000 lines and 1024 × 1024 are a clear example of that.
