Getting re-acquainted

Hello. Doomer since 1994. I have not played the game for a while. I knew a lot about ZScript and modding, but I figure my knowledge is outdated by now. The speed of the Doom community is hard to keep up with and changes are constantly being made, I don't know where to get familiarized with it again. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thank you.
