Our backgrounds and aspirations have uncanny similarities, and I trust them to tell the story.” ---- Speaking about Doom Guy, he said: “John Romero’s journey is the missing antidote for all of us misfit toys looking for hope and kindred spirits in the darkness of the world. It’s an unbelievable rock n’ roll, boundary-shattering, thrill ride grounded in humanity, integrity, patience and clever chess moves slathered in innocence, tenacity and pure coolness.” 2 Quote Share this post Link to post
Mr Masker Posted May 30 (edited) It's gonna be 6 episodes of actors coding for an hour in silence, then John Romero appears in the interview segments to talk about how hard it was to code the thing they were coding. Stupid Bunny Posted May 30 (edited) I semi-unironically would love to see Tommy Wiseau play John Romero and hope they do it and be legends, man Weirdo dreamers who put everything on the line for their passion projects Romero succeeded spectacularly and then failed equally spectacularly while Wiseau managed somehow to do both at the same time Long hair Even if they don't make this awesome and great decision however I would still be interested in seeing this. I haven't read Doom Guy yet but Romero's is a pretty neat story in a lot of ways (read Masters of Doom a bit ago and loved it, and then read The Disaster Artist which again was a really effective follow up js) Edited May 30 by Stupid Bunny 7 Quote Share this post Link to post

DannyMan Posted May 30 I'm up for a documentary. However, I'm not sure if a drama series based on Romero's autobiography would turn out well. 4 Quote Share this post Link to post

Xim Posted June 1 (edited) I've always thought a 'making of Doom' bio-pic would be a good idea for a movie. I wouldn't be surprised if this will end up being the best 'Doom movie' so far and it'll probably bring in new fans, unlike the previous movies based on the actual game. Eurisko Posted June 2 I hope this comes to fruition as we never did get that ‘Masters Of Doom’ series. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
