I had some time to dive back in for maps 9 and 10. I was hoping to round out the final episode in one video but it took me a while to work through these. These maps are at a challenge level that I like quite a bit, where it feels like it's approaching the cusp of when I'd have to start TRULY grinding it out with savescumming. These are the fights that I feel like make me better at the game. There are some effective combat puzzles here and some real harrowing slaughter, but it tends to be very pinned back and the flood gates don't actually open until the very end. My only regret is that I did not have more time set aside for this session today.

RC2 has been released with a ton of bug fixes (thanks @galileo31dos01 and @LVENdead!)

 

RC3 will have completed eternity support (it wasn't finished in time for the deadline) and full coop support, so stay tuned for that.

Map 7

Rocket launcher is in such an innocuous place, and should be moved to right next to where the mega and medikits are in the (shudders) mandatory pain sector, which I'm not a fan of btw. @Yumheart should do that.

Also, I think there should be more than 2 rad suits in the main arena.

Should have placed more suits along the perimeter of the arena. At least  8 more

@Mr. Meanor Thanks a lot for your feedback! Unfortunately, placing ten radsuits would make the damaging floor pointless. Limiting the player to only two radsuits (not counting the one you get for cleanup) was a deliberate decision, since the map is meant to be rushed. If you find that kind of playstyle is not your cup of tea, you'll be excited to hear that the map contains a whopping 8 radsuits on HNTR :)

Finished this tonight, had a total blast with it.  Map 13, holy smokes.  What a beginning and what an ending!  I thoroughly loved the animated texture for the shifting colors, too.  Great job, everyone!

Got through a sizeable chunk of the wad, only the last 2 maps to go but they seem massive so I think I'm gonna call it there tonight. Favorite maps so far: 01, 02, 04, 10, and 11.
