anyone know any programs best to plan out maps by drawing them?

Grungo would use paper, but paper too puny and small to contain grungo MASSIVE intellect.

 

grungo wanna find program that is easy to draw grids (me not have draw tablet) so I can plan out maps easily!

Adobe Illustrator. If you're not in the market for the Adobe creative suite (I wouldn't blame you), then look up alternatives to Illustrator. It is a vector based art program that would probably be a good option for what you're after. Me personally, I just draw basic shapes in Doom Builder and map from there; however, if I have a particular combat scenario or level idea I either write it down in a text file/google doc, or I do a very basic drawing of it and describe the drawing with bullet points to remember later :)
