PLAYPAL pixel art dumping ground

im gonna be using this post as a dumping ground for all my pixel art, which for the sake of being mildly on-topic, uses PLAYPAL exclusively (except when i feel like it ig.)

i find PLAYPAL to be a very nice palette despite what the hecklers say; i like using its big gradienty ramps to do more painterly stuff.

if anyone's wondering, i use aseprite, a laptop, and a mouse :)

Cosy, playful, yet full of latent longing and menace.

These hit real hard for some reason.

Adore the waterfall one best out of all the landscapes, which you most definitely have an eye for.

And while I know it's just the shape in the foreground of "open shut bracket", it makes me reminisce about a super lo-fi version of DaiOuJou that never existed.
