Is this too much? Price for old PSX Doom.

If it isn’t the greatest hits one, yes. 120 Aus is 80 USD here.  I seen non greatest hits games cost way more.  I had doom on psx, but it was cheap, no picture on the disc and not colorful.

This is the one you want.

I can't speak for your particular region, but generally speaking it seems quite high.  Pretty much everyone bases their pricing around price charting these days: https://www.pricecharting.com/game/pal-playstation/doom  Brick and mortar stores typically will put a small premium over the current actual value, but it seems they like to randomly put huge markups on things.  Not sure if the PAL version had a full color disc version, but even the non "Best of" release is pretty cheap according CIB sales data.

There are a lot of vintage games that have reached that price though, so it's not necessarily "a lot for a 1995 game."

This is a bestbuy, my friend!

But if you don’t have any extra money at all, then it’s better not to spend it

That seems awfully overpriced. Not even eBay copies cost that much. I originally bought a pre-owned copy of that exact release in a local store years ago (it was missing the manual). I don't remember the price, but it was pretty cheap. I then bought a complete copy from eBay in 2022 for AU $54.

I still have my copies of PS1 Doom and Final Doom (PAL).

If it's complete in-box, that's possibly a reason for why it's so high, but that does seem a good bit higher than what I'd expect.

This is a copy of PSX Doom in a pawn shop. I want it, but AU$120.00 is a lot for a game from 1995? Or is it?

Is that a Cash Converters? Cos they love a ridiculous mark-up lol

There's a great danger in me going on a tirade about how old physical media (especially if it's pristine) has turned into a shameless cash cow, with capitalist greed milking nostalgia value and symbolic subcultural status to the maximum. This is the modern day equivalent of stamp collecting, exploiting passions and hobbies and turning them into industries and sources of income.

TLDR: it's expensive, and even if you have the money and the desire to get it, I'd refuse to do so on matters of principle.

I can get that for about £20 plus shipping on ebay, though granted there are only a handful of copies available right now. Paid similar for Playstation Final Doom a couple of years ago. Converting the price in the OP comes out as over £60 and doesn't appear to be a "graded" price either, the absolute state lmao.
