I am very interested in learning how to bind a light object to demons in their data files.

I want to make the glory kill mod from Doom 2016/Eternal in Doom 3. First I am trying some basic stuff through editing their game files. And the first objective is to goof around with lights and make some of the demons glow with a basic light class tied to their models. I have seen these two guys from Youtube videos a long time ago do a whole thing with modding with the editor from topic A -> Z. In this one episode they bound a wrench to a zombie's hand (or a lantern?) and made him deal damage when he swung his arm. Pretty cool trick! I would like to do something like that in the individual demon .def files and NOT use the editor. It will be a mod (hopefully) after all. Thanks for the help!
