Originaly the barrons of hell were called Bruisers. soo I think id is a little reluctent to call Birdman the new Barron of hell, because he's now called 'the bruiser' I don't know, the Phobos Lab has 'Bruiser' listed on their character page.

I think they'er the same guy.

the title of this thread caught my eye, and i was so fucked up cuz a guy from nowhere comes and says something with a tone like "that's the way it is". "barons of hell were originally called bruisers". you fucking make up theories how a birdman is a bruiser cuz bruiser is BoH? how the fuck do you even know it is the BoH?? im pretty damn sure bruiser is something bigger, baron of hell is something more unholy by appearance, and birdman is something that likes to scare us.

I'd kill^ The birdman is not badass enough to be the new Baron. Granted he looks like he can fuck you up, maybe he is the "Bruiser". But Id wouldn't do something stupid like making him the new Baron... and if they had shown the Baron already, there'd be some official word that it was him, just like the Arch-Vile. They wouldn't show the Baron and not confirm it was him.

I think in jDoom, the folder with the md2s of the Baron is called "Bruisers". Also I think I read it in the Doom Bible.

Well, the two barons of hell at the end of episode one were called the bruiser brothers, if I remember correctly. However this does not mean that they were all called bruisers, I think that it really only refers to those two in particular. At least thats what I think.
