Resident Doom??

My friend said recently that Doom might make an intersting survival horror game.. (I.E. Resident Evil) I personally think that Doom should only be a FPS. But I thought this might make in interesting poll though. One thing is for sure. Fighting a Cyberdemon or 3 would be a pain in the ass using the RE engine.

a survival-horror Doom would blow ass...if Doom ever goes to a different genre it should be an RPG in fact currently im thinking of a D&Desque version of doom but im having no luck or progress

it would rule, and no you shouldn't face 3, 4 10,000 cyberdemons, I dont care. But if it were more like a survival horror, why not ? Im a big fan of Resident Evil next to Doom.
