There are many "free" hosts, and you can make four sites and link them together. Or you can spend 20 bucks a month and get hosted at http://www.bluedomino.com/ and get everything your heard desires. The key there is the unlimited bandwidth, and a shitload of other goodies, like 500MB storage, and php4 support, which goes with OpenBB one of the best upcoming super fast forums, just look at this here forum.
All those games you mentioned are old; and established sites like Doomworld feed the fans. So far any new site closed or is closing, or is not well. What I recommend is to get hired by a game site operator. Get involved. Understand how and why things work. If I sound like a old fart is because I am a old fart. And I also think do a Doom site for Doom get hosted here and get your feet wet into the gaming arena, and than focus on new games instead of old relics.
