sirjuddington Posted April 23, 2004 OK I think it's about time I announced this, so here goes... ZDoomGL now has it's own independant website. This also includes a new forum, so eventually this one will be closed, or something. Anyway the new and improved website is here: http://zdoomgl.mancubus.net Read the latest news post there for more information. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
myk Posted April 23, 2004 Oh, and I was sure it'd move to New Doom. What a disappointment. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
timmie Posted April 23, 2004 heh, just to clarify, the page isn't moving because we're unhappy here. Far from it! This place is awesome, but apparently we get to use PHP and stuff with the new site. Basically, here's the reasons for moving: - seperate ZDoomGL from the DoomGL page (since we don't have much to do with DoomGL and the utilities here, anymore) - avoid some confusion between the old ZDoomGL and the new ZDoomGL - access to better web features (MySQL, PHP, etc) - people banned on Doomworld can post questions (heh, don't know if that's a pro or a con yet, though) So far as I know, the forum here will remain active and I'll be checking in on it all the time (I'm sure SlayeR will be around as well). We just felt it was time for a fresh start, so to speak. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
sirjuddington Posted April 24, 2004 Yeah what timmie said is correct, I probably should have clarified a bit more.. The major thing was to fully seperate the new ZDoomGL from the old, since I was getting sick of all the confusion between them :P This probably should have been done as soon as timmie took over, but whatever. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
ADEzor Posted January 25, 2005 umm just curious... what version from normal ZDoom is ZdoomGL using currently? 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
wildweasel Posted January 26, 2005 It currently uses 2.0.63a. And there is a ZDoomGL forum at the MancNet site, I believe. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
