Grazza Posted June 6, 2004 The same way as normal - a command line like this: zdoom -file dv.wad -playdemo DEMONAME where "DEMONAME" is the file-name of the demo. You need to use the same version of Zdoom that was used to record the demo. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
deldelda Posted June 6, 2004 Problem: I don't have DOS, so I can't type in command lines. I just drag the WAD icon to the ZDoom icon and play it from there. Is there another way, or do I HAVE to have DOS? 0 Quote Share this post Link to post

You'll probably need to give a path: c:\doom2\zdoom -file dv.wad -playdemo DEMONAME or whatever. Alternatively: Start button - Programs - Accessories - Command Prompt. Or: Drag and drop the wad and the lmp onto the Zdoom icon. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
DOOM Anomaly Posted June 6, 2004 This is pretty much the same as Grazza said, but you can also make a shortcut icon to it. (I do this because I am lazy to do it again and again for wads I play commonly. :D) The same command line as Grazza said pretty much, into the field box there. Same thing, but scrolled over to see the rest of the command line. Hope that helps with Grazza's help. :D 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Schneelocke Posted June 6, 2004 Start->Run->"cmd.exe" should also give you a dos prompt. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
