Well, judging from what I've seen today on the DW forums and comments, it seems to be that many Americans see the deaths of thousands of innocents as perfectly acceptable, just as long as the innocents in question aren't fellow Americans, and there is a vague "excuse" for killing them.

Watching this pictures of women and men jumping out of windows 400m in the depth or imaging them beeing squished like bugs when the buildings collapsed... And then the moment in which one gave signals from a window close to the building´s top with a wipe or clothe...

I am not sure if its OK if I say this, but its my opinion: Hate the people who did this - but do not hate all moslems or arabs wherever they live (maybe in your school or neighborhood), some of them could be like you. Maybe a simple philosophy, but... I cannot imagine how much hate someone must feel to be able to do something like that.

When I first heard about the Twin Towers Incident, I was shocked. I mean THE World Trade Center, just collapsing?

My province's (Nova Scotia's) capitol, Halifax, suffered the largest explosion prior to Atomic Bombs because of a collision between an ammunition ship and another ship in the Harbour in the center of the City in 1917. (Phew! run-on sentance!)
After the explosion, Boston did an excellent and quick job in aiding the totally ruined city. I agree with the above article.
