captmellow Posted September 16, 2001 Hmmm . . . I tried putting my midi into a wad, & it sounds very slowed down. I uploaded the mellowmidi.zip, if anyone can check & tell me what I did wrong, & how to fix it. 0 Share this post Link to post
NiGHTMARE Posted September 16, 2001 I tried using midi2mus on it, and it slowed down as you say. I then loaded it and saved it (without any changes) in the program I use to make midi's, Midisoft Studio LE; for some reason it was around 3kb smaller. Upon running it through midi2mus again, it was absolutely fine. Very strange. I can send you the "fixed" .mid and/or .mus if you like. BTW, other people have had problems with certain midi composers and Doom. For example, convert almost anything by Mark Klem back to .mid and it'll be totally messed up. 0 Share this post Link to post
captmellow Posted September 17, 2001 Please do, & thanks. I will check out the composer app you mentioned, as well try to find some other converters. BTW, that's my very first midi. I didn't give it a map name, as I'm not sure how that's being assigned. Is it arbitrary? 0 Share this post Link to post
