Jdoom's random pitch sfx

Is there a way to turn this off outside of Kickstart? It's kinda annoying me but I don't use Kickstart because I'm playing the Absolution

I see no reason why you couldn't use kickstart . . .
but if for some reason you can't there's a file that kickstart puts the command line arguments into. Should be something like doomargs.tmp or doomargs.out
