doomsick Posted September 26, 2001 nope, according to the guy that sold me collectors doom this morning, it's next month, like the 25th or so...i'll probably go reserve it soon. 0 Share this post Link to post
Crendowing Posted September 26, 2001 I had a feeling. Now does anyone know about the Collector's DOOM? If it came out yesterday, then this weekend I'm gonna find the nearest EB or Best Buy or even Wal-Mart if they have it (I heard they only sell up to T-rated games ever since Columbine, but it doesn't hurt to check). So, if anyone knows, I'd like to know. 0 Share this post Link to post
Crendowing Posted September 26, 2001 Nevermind......Doomsick answered the question for me. 0 Share this post Link to post
Crendowing Posted September 26, 2001 Oh, and Deadnail, you were to one that mentioned something about finding the "magic light angle" or something like that, weren't you? Well, have you tried changing the color palette at the GB screen for regular games? 0 Share this post Link to post

Crendowing Posted September 27, 2001 Nice game box pic......but only 24 levels? Sheesh, I should've expected that! Guess it'll be just like the 32X version......crap. 0 Share this post Link to post
elbryan42 Posted September 27, 2001 32x was only 16 levels. snes was 24. snes was missing slough of despair, containment area, and central processing. missing only 3 levels isn't bad. 0 Share this post Link to post
deadnail Posted September 27, 2001 No I haven't tried any GB or GBC games on my GBA. 0 Share this post Link to post
Lüt Posted September 27, 2001 snes was missing slough of despair, containment area, and central processing. missing only 3 levels isn't bad.Considering one of them the THE CONTAINMENT AREA, that's just blasphemy. 0 Share this post Link to post
elbryan42 Posted September 27, 2001 I've tried Metal Gear Solid on my GBA. Some of the sound don't quite sound the same, but for the most part, it was exactly the same. Too bad Metal Gear Solid for the GBC is discontinued, or else I would buy it. 0 Share this post Link to post
Gokuma Posted September 27, 2001 I'm only getting Doom for GBA if some of my friends are for easily accessable multiplayer. Otherwise Doom on PC is enough for me. I don't have GBA, but I might get it eventually. I want COTM. I beat the crap out of both the US PS and JPN Saturn versions of SOTN/Demon Castle Dracula X:NITM. If anyone gets that Doom collector's edition let us know if you get anything extra with it. *Has the original Devastator (©1984) punch a hole through elbryan42's house.* Heh heh. 0 Share this post Link to post
ADOOM Posted September 27, 2001 Frikkin' dude! Probably it will be released next month.[/quote] That sucks, i might as well preorder it off eb 0 Share this post Link to post
Crendowing Posted September 27, 2001 32x was only 16 levels. Actually, it was 15 if you didn't discover the secret level and 17 if you did. About the missing levels in the SNES version: 1) I already knew which ones it was missing 2) I'll bet those are gonna be the exact same levels taken out on the GBA version. 0 Share this post Link to post
