m0l0t0v Posted October 12, 2004 I made this wad file with my own flats. When I drag it to the Zdoom icon, Doom2 starts but without the replacement flats. It works fine with wall textures etc, but not with flats... Can anyone tell me what's going on? How can I see my flats in Zdoom? I use zdoom 63.cab BTW Thanks in advance... [edit] It does work with monster sprites either :-( [/edit] 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Amaster Posted October 12, 2004 Does it work in other source ports? What did you use to add the flats? If you're using XWE, did you right click and select "Save As Doom Flat"? 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
m0l0t0v Posted October 12, 2004 I used NWT I know it's old but I like it. I'll try XWE though... ------- ahum... How do I import gif files into wads using XWE? 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
wildweasel Posted October 13, 2004 XWE needs BMP files, not GIF files. You can convert your GIFs to BMPs with Irfanview, at irfanview.com 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
m0l0t0v Posted October 13, 2004 OK, so how do I import bmp files into wads using XWE? I've opened wad and am looking the entries. How do I replace the existing bmp with the new one? It's probably really easy, but I can't find a button for it... :-( 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
