Deimos before the attack, was, they say, an actual base. People were alive and actually everything was running smoothly. After the portals blew out and the demons attacked however, everyone was killed, and the base started to slowly take on the appearance of Hell itself. The walls became drenched in bloody rune-like drawings, the floor turned into slimey brick, and the ceiling became black rock. All the Marines had been slaughtered and were sent back to life as mindless zombies.
And you're going to have to liberate it from the CyberDemon, a 14-foot tall colossus with a rocket-launcher for a right arm.
