Do any of you guys ever still play the pre-alpha, alpha1, alpha2, and press-release beta versions of DOOM if you still have them?

And you call yourself a DOOMER? The betas and public releases are historical and they rule to no end.

FYI Viperboy, in case you haven't noticed, many of the levels in the alpha versioins made it to the final version, with some slight tweaking.

Yeah so ? I consider my self a Doomer because Doom was thé game when i was a kidd. Not because I've played some lousy beta crap

I got mine at The Page of DOOM, then I realized there was a shareware section here at DW and kicked myself in the ass for not knowing beforehand.

I have never played a version like that, though I have heard a lot about them. My comp doesn't seem to like Doom normally right yet, so until I can fix that problem.. I can;t play these versions.
