myk Posted June 23, 2005 There's a very simple style that could well be used even for all the IWAD maps; not sure how to call it, maybe Speed Respawn. cycloid Posted February 13, 2007 (almighty bump, rather than start a new thread) how about - Treasure Hunt : (100% items or highest possible) simple enough though you might need to take intentional damage to get extra armor or health, this can be tied into the usual speed categories: UV,NM,-fast - Saviour : former-humans must be treated as per pacifist run, all other enemies treated as max run, bonus points for lowest collatoral damage 0 Share this post Link to post

Vile Posted February 16, 2007 Lunacy - Max kills using suprwep8.deh. Sure it's amusing to completely oblierate waves of monsters, but doing so with some degree of control might be a fun watch on HR style maps. All of the items that contribute to the "items" count in the endscreen are automatically picked up when you run over them. 0 Share this post Link to post
xit-vono Posted February 16, 2007 That's true. Things like health and armor are not counted as items. The only thing that causes a problem there I think is computer maps. You can't pick 2 of them up on the same map, but this doesn't happen very often because mappers don't usually put 2 of them in a map. 0 Share this post Link to post
emailking Posted February 16, 2007 It is true you can't pick up a 2nd computer map, so that would be an issue. (Although easy to handle since you know the max items %-age). Some health and armor does count (namely health potions, spiritual armor, berserk packs, souls spheres, and megaspheres) but those items are picked up regardless of whether or not you need them. 0 Share this post Link to post

Gusta Posted February 21, 2007 Maybe I could name here some contests that were held by czech players on the site of doom clan Wild Warriors. -run entryway in 6 secs (or lower) with pacifist style and without shooting at all, - easy -do entryway 100% kills using non berserk fist only (already mentioned by Grazza) -in entryway, 2 imps and all zombiemans must die and you don't have to hurt them in any way (that means you have to let die by zombiemans), you can kill the rest how do you want to. -in entryway meet with 12 imps on garden with SG, whnen they will be prepared do a screenshot of them, then use 2 rockets to kill as much as possible of them. Kill the rest how do you want to. -in entryway, play on NM and use chainsaw only, you have to kill everything at least once and get more than 300% kills. -in grosse, kill the cyber with berserk only (on UV and without taking an invul), the rest could be killed in any way. -in grosse, kill all SSmans and keens without hurting them (using infights or mr. cybie). then kill the cyber and finnish the map. (on UV, don't take an invul) -in suburbs, you are allowed to kill only the 2 arch-viles and don't hurt everything else. You have to get at least 65% kills before exiting -in suburbs get 100% kills without taking invul or use bfg. -in underhalls press the switch behind red key bars. you have to get there only with pacifist style. -on icon of sin get as many kills as you can get. then finnish the level (you are allowed to die.
