I wouldn't have put the little fine-lined details in there... but still fairly awesome :)

Yeah, I was a little hesitant about them as well. I think I figured out a better way to add details like that, using block unlined colour... think the transfers you used to apply to model aircraft.

Still, I wouldn't have thought of that without this little experiment, so it's all good.

yeah plus if you ever want to get rid of them it looks like it would be simple to paint out in a simple paint program. the "this way up" line I think is kinda funny though so I'd keep it

Yes because I'm sure dn wouldn't have kept the original source image where everything is a separate object!
