Quasar Posted October 7, 2005 I have uploaded the ExtraData script used by one of my test levels, which after some sprucing up and addition of more features, will probably be released as a demo level with the next version of Eternity. http://doomworld.com/eternity/engine/tutorials/exdata01.txt In other news, I have completed all 17 parameterized ceiling line specials, added a 17th floor special, and I have begun work on parameterized stairs. I just got done adding code for Hexen-style synchronized stairs that raise all at once -- they're awesome ;) Along with the Hexen map format, you'll soon be able to use some of this stuff directly in the form of a map conversion compatibility layer. ExtraData will retain its usefulness, however, since it can provide larger line specials, larger line args, and arbitrary other information. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
