Any word on when boom support will be functioning? It's the feature i'm most looking forward to.

BOOM support is currently in progress.

Most of the extra features not related to BOOM's new line specials are already implemented in beta4 (eg expanded map data object limits, SWITCHES and ANIMATED lump support, pass-thru line flags etc).
