How do you like your Doom?

I sometimes play Doom without saving, to see how long I survive in say, a Doom 1 episode. I rarely make it to the end unless I'm playing something too easy, like Fava Beans.

Has anyone finished more than one Doom 2 32-level megawad on Ultra Violence without dying? Is anyone playing Doom 2 this way, from MAP01 to MAP30 if possible, avoiding death, without saving or going away until killed?
